BRANDING
Le Mexique is a branding concept created for a catering service company. The owner wanted to transmit the authentic Mexican flavor mixed with the French traditional cuisine.
The main idea was to represent an image of the Maguey or Agave plant from Mexico. This plant is used as ornament plant as well to cook some special dishes in the Mexican cuisine. The abstraction of the plant gives at the same time the idea of the shape of a flame, which is used to cook in the traditional kitchens.
The snail shell was another design element because for the Mesoamerica cultures the sea shell was considered as a symbol of generation of birth. With this context the branding focus on transmit a new generation of Mexican-French cuisine service.
The result was an unique image that mixed elements like the Mexican agave plant, the fire and the sea shell in combination with the sophisticated colors and font type.
